Glen Rock College Fair 2016!
The Glen Rock High School Guidance Department cordially invites you to attend our 2016 College Fair, to be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 7 - 9 PM at Glen Rock HS/MS. Please click here to see the attached flyer and list of scheduled attendees for more information.
We have heard from nearly 120 colleges that plan to be in attendance that evening. Please be advised that the list is tentative; while expected, we cannot guarantee that any given college will attend.
Anyone interested in finding out information regarding post-secondary plans and institutions are welcome to attend!
New Jersey Youth Suicide Prevention
Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy and the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) is committed to decreasing youth suicide. Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for New Jersey's youth ages 10-24. Parents, professionals and/or just concerned citizens can use the following resources for support and/or guidance related to suicide or suicide prevention. http://www.nj.gov/dcf/adolescent/prevention/

Updated State Assessment Graduation Requirement
Please see the chart below, as taken from the NJ DOE memo dated January 7, 2016, regarding alternative means of fulfilling the State's Assessment Graduation Requirements for the Classes of 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019:
Note: * SAT taken prior to March 2016; ** PSAT taken prior to October 2015; ***PSAT taken after October 2015. The College Board will establish new ‘threshold scores’ in May 2016 for the new SAT.
Senior Application Materials
The Guidance Department has prepared materials to assist you during the college application process. Counselors are available throughout the entire application process for personal conferences or telephone calls - NO QUESTION IS TOO TRIVIAL. Parent Portal/School Fusion Registration
If you do not have a Parent Portal account, please print and complete the following form and return it to the HS Guidance Department. Upon verification, you will receive a Welcome Letter with log-in instructions for accessing the Parent Portal
